Purpose of the job

In this role, you will be actively involved in identifying improvement opportunities, guiding teams, and ensuring that Lean initiatives are implemented effectively. You work closely with multiple departments to promote a structured, data-driven, and sustainable improvement culture.

  • Coach and monitor the quality of Kaizen projects and organize Gemba walks.
  • Organize, facilitate, and supervise Kaizen events in both warehouse and office environments.
  • Contribute to annual Site Classification Assessments (SCA) to enhance the operational excellence level of the sites.
  • Motivate and involve colleagues in continuous improvement by leading Lean meetings on the work floor.
  • Provide training and workshops on Lean (White/Yellow Belt), 5S, cycle time measurements, and waste recognition.
  • Align with other Lean colleagues and central teams to standardize improvements and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on improvement initiatives, ensuring timely implementation according to plan.
  • Support the Operations Excellence Manager and other site leaders in Lean activities and daily management routines (e.g. monitoring KPIs and team boards).
  • Work according to applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Profile

This role calls for someone who combines analytical thinking with strong communication and coaching skills. You help others grow, challenge the status quo, and ensure improvements are not only implemented but sustained across the organization.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s level education 
  • Lean Green Belt certification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
  • Experience in team leadership and training.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Familiarity with Lean tools.

  • Strong analytical skills regarding process efficiency and quality.
  • Passion for coaching, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
