Purpose of the job

You'll be driving continuous improvement and manage/support projects for our internal customer, Samsung Electronics Benelux (SEBN). The purpose of each project is diverse and can focus on e.g. improving current processes (enhance efficiency, robustness, visibility), implementing new services, logistics cost reduction or implementing new LSPs (warehousing partners or carriers). The scope of the position covers the distribution of finished goods starting at inbound (arrival in Benelux) until the delivery at both our B2B and B2C customers for various product groups.

Continuous improvement;

• Determine opportunities for improvement
• Guide operational improvement meetings
• Initiate and follow up on change requests
• Logistic cost reduction initiatives

Project management;

• Project management related to requests of the internal customer SEBN, and projects initiated from SDS side
• Assist in/guide the implementation of new services, as a potential outcome of e.g. an RFQ
• Scope business requirements and translate these into best fit solutions
• Cooperate with various departments within various Samsung entities to ensure smooth implementation

LSP management;

• Set up regular meetings with carriers and 3PL warehouse to discuss operations, KPI’s, improvement areas and status of ongoing projects

Reporting and data analysis;

• Review outbound order data to spot trends
• Take care of daily reporting on certain operational KPI’s
• Monthly reporting on topics such as logistics costs, abnormal stock, on-time-delivery performance
• Support NPS analysis and reporting

Ad hoc;

• Lead operational calls with various stakeholders during peak promo periods such as Black Friday
• Support the logistics manager in creating (urgent) improvement plans
• Act as general support to other team members and as a backup of operational colleagues when necessary
