Purpose of the job

You'll be responsible for claims resolvement by ensuring correct and timely follow up together with all the relevant stakeholders. Acting as the primairy contact for warehouse and logistic service providers in order to collect, maintain and follow up on claims, effective communication is key. Furthermore you'll engage in:

• Gathering and registering appropiate information and documentation in order to determine the legitimacy of a claim
• Investigating of received claims
• Creating and sending of liability letters in order to start the settling process between costumer, logistics provider and insurance.
• Administration of claims in SDS internal systems 
• Ensuring on time payment of compensation 
• Analysing and monitoring claims in order to define problem areas and suggest both short and long term solutions
• Escalating substantial claims to Head of Department
