Purpose of the job
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
You will be supporting the team responsible for managing transportation services and customer care. You will report to the Operations Manager and interact with our customers, partners, and various departments within our company. We aim to build our talent pool by sharing this opportunity with a motivated, fast-learning candidate who is ready to embark on a journey in the logistics sector of Samsung SDS.
KEY ACTIVITIES
The main activities you’ll be involved in are:
- Customer master data management:
- Transport order list: contact new end customer and/or new destinations to complete technical data in the system for the execution of the service.
- Send updates to the customer for volume limits requested by end customer when creating new orders.
- Delivery booking:
- Booking by phone.
- Send to the customer the list of unbook deliveries in order to avoid accumulation and delivery delays in the relevant month.
- Digital archive management of new end customers documents.

PROFILE – COMPETENCE
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with analytical skills, precision and proactivity.
He/she is a flexible, passionate with a strong hands-on mentality, able to work in teams and with a high motivation to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Attitude to work collaboratively on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
- Positive thinker with a “can do, will do” spirit and a change agent mentality.
- Native Italian speaker or with excellent proficiency. Good command of English, both spoken and written

Benefits
INTERNSHIP DETAILS
Internship duration: 6 months, with possibility of further extension.
Compensation: 900,00 euro gross per month.
Office: Milan office (Porta Nuova – Garibaldi area)
