Purpose of the job

As a Solutions Design Manager, you represent the organization at management level to clients, you have a critical role in designing and implementing customized logistics solutions that meet customer needs, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.

• Represent Samsung SDS towards operational stakeholders at (potential) customers
• Explore the most effective solutions for complex issues by understanding the customer needs, goals and challenges
• Provide advice on the best possible innovative solutions in close collaboration with Business Development Managers
• Design end-to-end innovative and robust logistics solutions that optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Evaluate and select technologies and sub-contractors for specific solutions
• Create thorough cost and benefit models of the proposed solution, taking into account factors such as implementation costs, operational costs, potential savings, and the overall return on investment (ROI).
• Present solutions and business cases to internal business owners to allow for strategic decisions to be made by management
• Present proposed solutions towards the customer explaining the benefits and addressing the customer needs
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align on company capabilities and resources
• Support local logistics teams throughout Europe for supply chain processes
