Purpose of the job

Execute and coordinate Logistics warehousing, commodity, MHE tenders and contract process, investments and enable decision making in order to achieve the optimum balance between service and pricing. Tender management for our European organization involves RFQ’s for 16 countries in Europe with a focus on Warehousing, Contracts & Investments varying in value between €50K and €20+ million per tender. Next to that, execute business simulations and benchmarks regarding (internal) business development in order to find required SCM solutions and anticipate on market trends and business opportunitiesVendor Contract

Key activities:

  • Governance Management and Reporting
  • Bidding Plan/Progress Management
  • Master data Management of e-Bidding System and e-bidding system training to new users
  • Bidding KPI management
  • Logistics Market Sensing and new Logistics Company development
  • e-Bidding Process Improvement
  • Interact with internal stakeholders like logistics managers in European Sales Subsidiaries and Senior Management for Samsung SDS

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM;
  • At least 5 years of experience on purchasing and/or implementation in logistics, architectural and facility environment. Preferably experience at a multicultural international.
  • SCM & Logistics knowledge, with a strong preference for Warehousing and Supply chain;
  • Self-starting capabilities and strong stakeholder management skills;
  • A proficient level of English (written and verbal);
  • Very good MS Office skills (mainly Excel and Power point);
  • Experience with ERP, e-procurements, procurement bidding systems;
  • NEVI 1 and 2 is a pre;
  • Wide logistics network;
  • Ability to travel (less than 20%).

Competences:

  • Extensive experience in Logistics / Supply Chain contract management and strong result driven mindset;
  • Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation and analytical skills;
  • Flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality;
  • Logistics and facility background or similar
  • Concept mentality, knowledge of real estate acquisition,     process engineering, QHSE, permits and technical environments, consumables;
  • Conceptual thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start;
  • knows how to manage stakeholders;
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
