In the function of logistic inbound/outbound administrator role you work from the Regional Distribution Center in Alcalá de Henares.
As an Inbound/Outbound planner you represent our company with enthusiasm. Together with the operational team, you are responsible for the planning process within our distribution center and of the correct control of the available stock and damages in our warehouse. You are the link between the customer and the driver and in parallel with the warehouse team. You listen carefully to the needs all sides. Your experience allows you to empathize with all sides situation, costumer, warehouse, drivers and therefore make a perfect planning. You are service-oriented, you are proactive and consistent, you process everything neatly in the TMS system.

Purpose of the job

. You are responsible for, among other things:

  • Solving occurring (planning related) problems;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements;
  • Provide input regarding the planning system and perform test work;
  • Giving input, thinking along and giving advice on forecasts/tactical planning;
  • The right balance between costs and quality over the overall planning;
  • The (telephone) contact with suppliers, transporters and internal stakeholders regarding orders and orders;
  • Placing transport orders and processing them;
  • Monitoring planned transports and responding immediately to any deviations;
  • Ensure a stable transport network;
  • Additional administrative work.
  • Stock control and inventory count

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong social and communication skills towards the team and internal and external clients. Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem solver with a strong hands-on mentality who is used to working in teams. Our ideal candidate has:

  • 99% of your daily job is written and spoken in English.
  • Experience with logistics/transport is a must.
  • Experience with Excel and other tools such as PowerBi.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Flexible availability between 07:30 - 19:00 from Monday to Friday.
  • Able to work independently.
  • High level of urgency.
