Purpose of the job

The person in this role will own both the day to day operational requirements as well as support the short/medium and long term ambitions of Samsung e-commerce business.

Key activities of the role include:

  • Support 2 Ecommerce team members on daily operational reporting and project delivery. These D2C projects help to improve and increase capacity with WHS and carriers.
  • Coordinate with up to 10 different countries their Ecommerce operations, issues and reporting.
  • Support local team with system improvements.
  • Support D2C Operations Manager as back up.  
  • Partner with key functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into Ecommerce projects.
  • 3PL / 4PL and business collaborative mindset.
  • Travelling to the local operations to support operations and projects

Profile

For this role we are looking for a candidate with a positive mindset, passion for logistics and/or Ecommerce, strong motivation and ability to develop and manage innovative operations solutions. You need to be:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/Supply Chain management (preferred)
  • 1-2 years working experience in e-commerce or logistics operations
  • Knowledge of warehouse and/or transport management systems (develop, operate).
  • Experience in either in-house or 3PL organizations
  • Experience of one man operations (warehouse fulfilment and transport)
  • Commercially astute and creative
  • A proficient level of English
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word and PPT) and ERP system
  • Comfortable working across different cultures. Affinity with Asian work culture (preferable)
