For our Solutions Team in the Regional Headquarters of Samsung SDS Logistics, we are looking for a fulltime Warehouse Solution Engineer. For this role we are looking for a candidate who is capable of converting business requirements in innovative warehouse solution, detailed design of warehouse layout, and warehouse process.

Purpose of the job
- Support innovation projects in current SDS warehouses in Europe and CIS;
- Support new business projects and have a leading role in warehouse (re) design, fit-out and resource calculation;
- Understand and analyze customer data translate into understandable warehouse layout and process descriptions;
- Designing robust and technically feasible logistics solutions for new business in warehousing;
- Focus on further enhancement of SDS in-house Cello WMS;
- Be the interface between customer & warehouse operations teams in Europe and the extensive development team in Korea that is highly motivated to develop a market leading WMS;
- Gather information regarding new processes, IT systems or trends in the market in order to have up to date knowledge.

Profile
We are looking for an employee with:
- Master degree in Logistics/SCM or from a technical university;
- Significant experience in logistics engineering (warehouse layout and process design);
- 5+ years supervisor experience in a logistics environment and relevant role;
- Conceptual and analytical thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start;
- Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative and deliver targets;
- Experience with WMS systems;
- A proficient level of English;
- Open to other cultures and social;
- Extensive travelling will be required in this role.
