Purpose of the job
As a customs broker you are responsible for the coordination and controlling of customs activities.
You are the specialist in customs related matters.
This role is all about handling (complex) customs issues such as declarations such as import, export, transit and the bonded warehouse administration in cooperation with the Senior customs broker and your customs manager
Liaising with overseas branches, both internal and external customers, customs and local authorities, all with service at the front of mind.
You will report to the Senior customs broker and on top of your daily responsibilities, you will support the operations team with developing, implementing and continuously enhancing customs and brokerage procedures.

Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 3+ relevant and demonstrable experience in a similar position of (junior) Customs Broker;
- Good knowledge of current customs legislation;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
- You are a proactive team player with strong organizational skills;
- A professional education for customs broker;
- Self-motivation, and who is dynamic and confident;
- No hesitance in advising customers in line with legislation;
- You are result-oriented, analytical and you pay attention to details.
