Purpose of the job

As Business Development Manager you will be selling Contracts Logistics and Freight Forwarding, your main tasks will be:

  • Building the Business Development team in Spain, reporting to the Country Manager.
  • Participating in Contracts Logistics RFQ.
  • Quoting Air and Ocean Freight for small and big volumes, short and long term quotations.
  • Will be responsible for the national RFQ where Samsung SDS Spain will be participating along with the BD team in RHQ.
  • Main contact of our international clients.
  • Looking for warehouse locations and solutions following national regulation depending on the product and customer requirements.
  • Drafting and implementing the sales strategy plan in line with the company Strategy and Business plan.
  • Drafting and managing the BD/ Sales budgets.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relations with (key) customers.



We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience selling contract logistics and Freight Forwarding.
  • Background and experience with contract logistics and freight forwarding. These 2 points of experience are mandatory, please reflect clearly in your CV this experience otherwise it will be discard. Examples in detail are valuable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Problem solving, communicative, independent, managerial, analytical and you set priorities
  • Result-oriented, customer-oriented, convincing, influencing, motivating, coaching, and commercial
  • You are a real 'deal maker' with good sales qualities.
