Purpose of the job

The person is this senior role will lead large and complex logistics projects. Besides the candidate will act as line manager for some associates and coach them to deliver their projects successfully.

 

Project scope can be various:

  • logistics network optimization
  • new customer implementations
  • solutions for change in business requirements 
  • innovation in warehouse and transport operations
  • Cello logistics IT modules roll-out

 

Key activities:

  • lead logistics projects in Europe & CIS countries in different stages from business case until hyper care
  • support Business Development in acquisition of new business and Operations in trouble shooting and continuous improvement
  • manage internal stakeholders on branch, regional and headquarter and external parties like customers and service providers
  • manage and develop associates; participate in team management and regional management project board
  • establish internal and external network, energize SDS for new business opportunities and breakthrough innovation

Profile

For this role we are looking for a candidate with experience in logistics operations and passion for development of supply chains. Our ideal candidate has strong communication, persuasion and analytical skills and can easily connect with new teams and people in different cultures. He/she is result-driven and a pragmatic problem-solver with perseverance and hands-on mentality.

 

We are looking for a manager with:

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Logistics/SCM
  • Track record in logistics operations, development and project management
  • 7 – 15 year working experience in a relevant  role
  • A proficient level of English
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Experience with ERP system, WMS, TMS
  • Extensive travelling will be required in this role.
