We are looking for a fulltime Quality & Compliance Coordinator at our Distribution Center in Breda.

Purpose of the job


The Quality & Compliance coordinator (Q&C coordinator) monitors the quality of the spare parts and/or their packaging and reports findings to the owner of the goods, (internal customer ‘Samsung Electronics’).

The Q&C coordinator monitors the quality of the internal warehouse processes and warehouse staff, and reports findings to the Warehouse Operations management. The Q&C coordinator supports the warehouse operation in root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective or preventive actions.

The Q&C coordinator acts as the subject matter expert on Customs AEO requirements and on requirements related to Shipping of Dangerous Goods. The Q&C coordinator gives advice and training on these subjects, monitors and audits the AEO and DG related processes for compliance with legislation, and reports findings and gives advice to relevant management.


Key activities of the Q&C Coordinator are:

  • Arrange stock checks and inbound checks, based on customer request, external complaints or internal notification.
  • Arrange for poor quality and/or incorrect stock to be blocked in the SAP WMS system and reported to the stock owner.
  • Arrange for packaging to be improved/changed when necessary from quality perspective.
  • Create Picking performance and Packing performance report and present findings to the relevant warehouse supervisors.
  • Create overall warehouse performance overviews and present data to warehouse operations management.
  • Maintain the document control systems, and document compliance with Customs AEO requirements.
  • Supports and coordinates review and update of compliance documents, by the document owners.
  • Audit work instructions, processes and procedures and report audit findings to local management.
  • Responsible for training colleagues from relevant departments on topics related to dangerous goods, specifically Li-Ion Batteries.
  • Responsible for monitoring and auditing DG related matters, in compliance with the requirements of the DG license for Shipping Dangerous Goods via Air.
  • Bi- annually arrange the RI&E (risk inventory and evaluation) and follow up on necessary actions;
  • Give advice on safe working and a safe working environment;
  • Register company accidents;
  • BHV/ ER responsibilities.  




We are looking for a Q&C coordinator with:

  • MBO level 4 or Bachelor Degree, preferably in Logistics / Supply Chain Management;
  • 3-5 year of work experience in similar function;
  • Knowledge of Customs AEO requirements, preferably Customs Consultant/Vakopleiding Declarant;
  • Knowledge of Shipping Dangerous Goods, preferably IATA certification cat.6;
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Experience with SAP;
  • You are accurate and have attention for details;
  • Customer oriented;
  • Self-starter;
  • Strives for excellence;
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, from different levels and cultures;
  • You have strong communication skills.
