Facility Manager







We are looking for a fulltime talented and highly motivated Facility Manager for our newly opened warehouse in Born.The purpose of this role is to coordinate, purchase, plan and control equipment and facility support services performed by external suppliers to ensure optimum service levels against favorable costs and in order to have a smooth running operation.

Purpose of the job

This role will be based in our newly opened warehouse in Born. You will be reporting directly to the Site Manager. Key activities for this role include:

  • Being in direct contact with various suppliers;
  • SLA management with suppliers and support to Procurement in establishing specifications, including contract negotiations with various suppliers;  
  • Participating in project teams for the implementation of new customers and/or expansion of existing ones;  
  • Taking care of installation of new equipment and services;
  • Monitoring of costs and savings;  
  • Leading implementation and maintenance projects in the warehouse and ensuring that they are carried out on time and accurately (which can be smaller for existing sites, or larger for the other client sites in Italy, Spain and Germany); 
  • Stakeholder management;  
  • Ensuring that all guidelines, rules and procedures are communicated in a correct manner to the operations and management teams;  
  • Ensuring that the safety programs are supported and implemented for all departments;
  • Preparing various reports and making recommendations on request and/or proactively.



For this role we are looking for a candidate with a positive and enthusiastic mindset, passion for logistics and string motivation. He/she is a flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality.

  • HBO / Bachelor degree in business administration/logistics;  
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a logistics organization;  
  • Good command of both English and Dutch language in speaking and writing;
  • Good communication;
  • Independent, proactive, analytical and able to make things happen;
  • Open to other cultures.
