We are looking for a fulltime talented and highly motivated Warehouse Manager Operations Support for our newly opend warhouse ion Born, south of the Netherlands. You will be responsible for the inventory control & system support team, review and maximize operational performance, and optimize operational processes and reduce costs to increase efficiency. In this position you will report directly to the Site Manager.

Purpose of the job

Lead the stock control team:

  • Manage the individual team members
  • Ensure teamwork
  • Translate and guide the expected quality and results towards the team

Stock Comparison:

  • Coordinate cycle count tasks
  • Analyze and report cycle count results (KPIs)
  • Analyze, solve and report daily stock discrepancies between WMS and Customer’s ERP-system
  • Organize and coordinate Wall-to-Walls (2x per year)
  • Close contact with Customer Service team in order to solve customer complaints
  • Ensure optimal stock allocation levels in WMS / Customer’s ERP
  • Initiate improvements to ensure optimal stock levels

Warehouse occupancy:

  • Report daily and weekly occupancy trends
  • Initiate and align actions for optimal usage of the warehouse capacity
  • Align and coordinate warehouse optimization tasks

Blocked stock management:

  • Coordinate blocked stock (Inbound, Warehouse and Return damages) allocation and reporting
  • Coordinate repack and rework activities

Item and location master data:

  • Ensure quality of the WMS item master and location master parameters
  • Function as trouble shooter to solve item master and put-away related issues
  • Analyze product and handling characteristics and initiate process improvement possibilities

 Improvement of warehouse processes and systems:

  • Identify process deviations and translate deviations into solutions and improvement proposals

Systems support:

  • Provide support to operations on WMS, TMS, loading optimizer (and other systems) for smooth operations (also hardware support)

Process innovation:

  • Investigate on exceptions of the standard process and disturbance in order to prevent and solve issues
  • Investigate on exceptions of the standard process and disturbance in order to prevent and solve issues
  • Initiate process improvements and cost saving projects in order to decrease the outbound  cost per line

Customer contact:

  • Act as a first point of contact for the customer related to stock, Master Data topics, rework.



We are looking for a candidate with strong social skills in communications towards the team and internal and external customers. Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is used to work in teams. Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in logistics/ Supply chain
  • At least  5 years’ working experience in a relevant role
  • Fluent in English
  • In possession of ERP System advanced skill set
  • Experience in an international company would be a major advantage
